🧩 Best Bars In Prague Reddit
Looks like Prague has numbered neighborhoods and Don Giovanni hotel is in "Praha 3." Not sure what the hippest neighborhood numbers are here. When I started watching YouTube walking tour vids of Prague a few years ago, the vids were mainly taken on the Charles Bridge and through the town square that it leads into.
Jampa Dampa. A staple of Prague’s lesbian scene, Jampa Dampa is a small bar with an intimate dance floor. After new owners took it on and gave it a much-appreciated makeover, Jampa Dampa is now the most well-known lesbian bar in Prague. It has a cute, typically Czech interior and a great little events calendar.
Alchymist Grand Hotel & Spa – Ecsotica Spa. This 5-star hotel spa is situated among the winding streets of Lesser Town, walking distance from both the Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle. This Prague spa is within four historical buildings that finally became the Alchymist in 2006. The Alchymist is home to the Ecsotica Spa & Health Club.
Knoflík - a punk pub on Anděl where you can smoke (you have to pay about 20Kč for a "club membership" because of that). Balada bar - not that well known as it's still quite new, but a very nice metal/ug bar that also does concerts, recommend!
I'm currently also doing a study abroad in Prague and it's fantastic. My favorite Czech foods are smazny syr, best served from a stand in wenceslas square after a night out (but also the Orion Club in Zizkov has a great one imo), česnečka, palačinky, bramboráčky, and of course goulash. Also best breakfast place, Marthy's Kitchen-near
Fancy bars/restaurants in Prague. Hey guys, i was wondering if you can recommend any fancy bars/restaurants in Prague with great atmosphere and full of people (i dont like going to places with five people inside and three tables)… i dont care about the drinks/food, i just wanna enjoy the crowds. Thank you!
I'm planning my first trip to Prague after months of non-stop work, and I'm eager to explore some exceptional cocktail bars in and around the city…
If you want a bit less expensive, and maybe a 5-15 tram/wall outside the centre, then Zizkov, Karlin, or Vinohrady are nice, and a bit more of the everyday Prague experience. Zizkov and Karlin are near the Florenc metro (red line), and Vinohrady is near the Flora metro (green line).

THANK YOU. Prague IMO must have been awesome about 10 years ago. Now there are just SO many people everywhere that it feels like Disney and definitely not in a good way. I visited Krakow the same month and loved it a lot more- just as fun and pretty, but cheaper and fewer tourists. 7.
Haven't been to the new location. If there's a show, Klub 007 is worth checking out. It's a historic club where lots of legit punk/hardcore/indie bands have played over the years. As for rock bars, Hells Bells is good but its actually a metal bar. Vagon is fun, but not remotely alternative.
